ECMWF at EMS2024

ECMWF is taking part in this year’s Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society (EMS), from 2 to 6 September in Barcelona and online. We will present developments in global Earth system modelling from across the organisation. Oral and poster presentations and sessions convened or co-convened by ECMWF staff cover topics including data assimilation and ensemble forecasting; weather and climate modelling; forecasting, nowcasting and warning systems; and open data. 

New this year is our side event for ECMWF forecast users on 3 September. This in-person event complements our annual UEF meeting and consists of two moderated and two drop-in sessions.
