A number of products
are available in the field form. Products can be grouped into the
following categories:
- Control, perturbed and
calibration/validation forecast products
- Cluster mean and
cluster standard deviation products
- Ensemble mean and
ensemble standard deviation products
- Forecast probabilities
products
- TUBE products
Extensions to the GRIB
code have been made to enable EPS products to contain full
information about the product. Information details such as data
type, ensemble/cluster/probability number, total number of
forecasts in the ensemble, etc. are provided (detailed description
will follow for each product data type).
