Statistics of temperature departures between radiosonde observations
and model first guess fields are presented in form of vertical profiles
classified by solar elevations for different station categories (read
more>>). From left to right the profiles are in order: number
of cases, departures, cubic spline approximation of departures and correction.
The latest statistics is given in the upper panel, the lower panel gives
the statistics from which the correction currently in use has been applied
or in the case of uncorrected categories the latest correction used.
