Time invariant (or constant) fields

 
 

Time invariant model fields are those model fields that are kept constant during the course of the integration. Typically these are the model land-sea-mask, orography and, somewhat model dependent, the surface roughness and albedo. Data for these fields are provided below.

ECMWF model

Simulations using the IFS cycle 29R2 (see Table of experiments) are done in atmospheric resolution T95. Later cycles (31R1 and onwards) are run in T159.

Met Office models

These files contain the fractional land-sea-mask and the surface geopotential.

Météo France model

INGV model

IfM Kiel model
