Retrieving ECMWF deterministic forecasts

All ECMWF forecasts are originally produced as deterministic forecasts. The probabilistic information is calculated by different forms of post-processing (see section 3.4 and chapter 5). The exact value of the parameters can be affected by the way the data is retrieved, interpo­lated and presented.
