The SIMDAT software components are distributions based on JAVA.
You will need JAVA JDK 1.5.x (or 1.6) to run the distributions.

To download the SIMDAT Meteo project, you will need access to an svn client:
- From command line
svn checkout http://code.ecmwf.int/svn/vmc/branches/VMC-V0.9.8.1b |
- With the eclipse IDE svn plugin (http://subclipse.tigris.org/)
Within the ecipse IDE and the svn plugin installed.
- Window>Open Prespective>SVN Repository Explorer
- Right click on the SVN Repository Explorer to create a "New Repository Location"
- Enter as Location URL http://code.ecmwf.int/svn/vmc
- Right click on the "VMC-V0.9.8.1b" folder inside the branches folder and "Checkout" the project.
