Description:
- period supported - 1 January 1979 to 28 February 1994;
- fields are uninitialised analyses for 0000, 0600, 1200 and 1800 UTC each day;
- area is 66.0° N to 30.0° N, 6.0° W to 42.0°;
- each parameter is stored as a field of grid point values at 0.25° resolution;
Fields available are:
| significant wave height, mean wave direction, peak period of 1D spectra, mean wave period, coefficient of drag with waves, significant height of primary swell, mean direction of primary swell, mean period of primary swell. Data are not available for 28 February 1984 at 1800 UTC. |
