Description :
- period supported - January 1979 to December 1993;
- fields are forecasts with steps every 12 hours from 0 to 240;
- forecasts from base time 0000 UTC are available every 15 days starting from 1 January each year;
- forecasts from base time 1200 UTC are available starting from the 1st and 16th of each month;
- each parameter at each level is stored as a field either of grid point values, or of spherical harmonic coefficients;
- 31 hybrid model levels;
Felds available are :
| ln surface pressure, on level 1 plus temperature, vorticity, divergence, vertical velocity, u- and v-components of horizontal wind, specific humidity, cloud cover, cloud liquid water content and cloud ice water at all levels; specific humidity, cloud cover, cloud liquid water content and cloud ice water content are archived as gaussian fields with the rest archived as spherical harmonics. |
