Description
: - period supported - 1 December 1978 to 28 February 1994;
- fields
are uninitialised or initialised analyses for 0000, 0600, 1200 and 1800 UTC each
day;
- each parameter at each level is stored as a grid point field at 2.5°
resolution;
Fields available for uninitialised analysis are:
| 2 metre dewpoint temperature,
2 metre temperature, 10 metre u and v wind components, albedo, angle of subgrid
scale orography, anisotropy of subgrid scale orography, apparent surface humidity,
land-sea mask, log of surface roughness for heat, mean sea level pressure, percentage
of vegetation, skin reservoir content, skin temperature, slope of subgrid scale
orography, snow depth, soil temperature levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, soil wetness levels
1, 2, 3 and 4, standard deviation of orography, surface geopotential, surface
roughness; | Additional fields available for initialised
analysis are:
| forecast albedo, forecast
log surface roughness for heat, forecast surface roughness, high cloud cover,
low cloud cover, medium cloud cover, total cloud cover, total column water, total
column water vapour. The field total column water is not available for the
period 1 September 1980 to 31 December 1981. |
