This part includes a brief description of the ERA-40 Monthly Means Surface Forecast Data Set. Please use our Online Ordering system to order this data set.
Description
:
- fields are monthly means from base times 0000, 0600, 1200 and 1800
UTC at steps 3 and 6; and for monthly means of daily means for forecast
step 6 only;
- each
parameter at each level is stored as a field of grid points at N80
resolution;
