ECMWF 40 Year Re-analysis (ERA-40) Monthly Means Surface Analysis Data Set



 

 
 

Description:

  • fields are analyses for 0000, 0600, 1200 and 1800 UTC or monthly means of daily means for time 0000 UTC;
  • each parameter at each level is stored as a field of grid points at N80 resolution;

Fields available are:

albedo changes on a monthly basis, but years are identical (climatological field).
