ECMWF, Shinfield Park, Reading.

 

ACCOMMODATION

A list of hotels and guesthouses in Reading is available on our website (hotels). Please, contact the hotel/guesthouse of your choice directly. If you experience any problems, please contact ECMWF (e-mail compcourse@ecmwf.int). The Centre regrets that it cannot pay accommodation expenses.

 

TRAVEL

Participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements. The Centre regrets that it cannot pay travel expenses.

 

FEES

The Centre does not charge any course fees, nor does it pay any travel or accommodation expenses for the course on “Use of Computing Facilities”.

 

LANGUAGE

All tuition will be in English.

 

APPLICATION

Nominations to reach ECMWF by Friday, 11 December 2009. Applicants will be informed by 15 January 2010 whether they have been allocated a place or not.

PARTICIPANTS

There will be a maximum of 24 Member State or Co-operating State participants per module. If the number of applicants exceeds the maximum that can be handled, the Centre will use the following criteria in choosing participants to attend:

  • one participant per Member State or Co-operating State;
  • then a second participant from any Member State or Co-operating State, in the order of date of receipt of application.

The Centre reserves the right to cancel the course or any part of it, if insufficient numbers register for it.
