Application Procedure
Computer Training Course 25 February - 12 March 2002

Member States and Co-operating States

Nominations to attend must be submitted through the relevant National Meteorological Service using ECMWF's application forms (for COM 1 to 4: pdf; form for COM 5 pdf). Additional application forms are available either from the National Meteorological Services or direct from ECMWF.

The Centre does not charge any course fees, nor does it pay any travel or accommodation expenses.
There will be a maximum of 20 Member State and Co-operating State participants per module. If the number of applicants exceeds the maximum that can be handled, the Centre will use the following criteria in choosing participants to attend:

• one participant per Member State or Co-operating State;
• then a second participant from any Member State or Co-operating State, in the order of date of receipt of application.

Other States

Applications from Other States are not accepted unless they are sponsored by a Member State or Co-operating State, in which case the above application procedure applies.

Deadline for applications

Applications for the Computer Training Course should arrive at the Centre before 9 January 2002.
Deadline for application for Module 5 is Monday, 27 May 2002.
